'AWARENESS THROUGH MOVEMENT' CLASSES

Enhance your performance and well-being.

Carefully crafted, each 'Awareness Through Movement' lesson is different, offering you a chance to explore your own particular patterns in movement and discover more possibilities.

The teacher leads the students verbally through the lesson without actually showing you what to do, inviting you to catch yourself in your habitual ways of acting, get curious - and discover some new improved variations!

Becoming aware of what you do involves slowing down and going gently to be able to feel differences in ways of doing something that may seem small but make a big difference to your ease and ability., Lessons are often done lying down or sitting to help that process, but there is a great range in the lessons including, bigger or more dynamic movements as well.

CLASS SCHEDULE

These on-going weekly each classes have a theme that lasts for about 2 months, but they are stand-alone (not a course) so that you can drop-in as you wish and start in any week. (Except Tuesday)
If you are able to come regularly you will get a more complete picture.
Of course all the classes are for your whole self, not just one part or aspect, but we will explore from different angles. That means that all the classes overlap and interweave, so coming on different days works too.

Online Drop-in:

In The Studio:
- Tuesdays 7:45pm to 8.45pm
AT: The Upper Studio at the The Haelan Centre, London, N8 (side entrance)
COST: £72 for 6 lessons (a lesson can be postponed with 24 hours notice only)
(Small studio so requires booking. Occasionally it is possible to drop in for £14)

When I first went to a Feldenkrais class I thought: 'what the F is this about?' as it was unlike any other movement class I have ever done.
But I found over time that my awareness and understanding of how my body moves deepened.
Gradually the way I move has changed so I am have more ease and freedom.
And I love the way Feldenkrais calms and settles me emotionally
